What documents do I need to provide to rent a motorcycle?
You’ll need to present your passport and a valid driver’s license from your home country. An International Driving Permit (IDP) with motorcycle certification is strongly recommended.
Do I need a motorcycle license to rent a motorcycle?
We do not require a motorcycle license to rent a bike. However, Thai police may request to see an International Driving Permit with motorcycle certification if you happen to be stopped for any reason, and we recommend carrying one to avoid potential issues during your ride. It is also required for insurance coverage.
Is there an age requirement to rent a motorcycle?
Yes. The minimum age to rent a motorcycle is 21 years old.
Can I add a second driver to my motorcycle rental?
Yes. A second rider can be added, as long as they meet the same age and license requirements as the primary renter.
What safety gear is included with the rental?
Each rental includes the following safety gear at no additional cost:
- Helmet
- Riding gloves
- Riding jacket
Do your motorcycles include phone holders?
Yes. All motorcycles come with universal phone holders. If you have a Quad Lock-compatible phone case, we can install a Quad Lock mount on your bike upon request.
Do the motorcycles have storage for my belongings?
Yes. All motorcycles are equipped with storage options, which vary by model and may include:
- Lockable top box
- Lockable hard panniers
- Waterproof seat bag
- Soft saddlebags
Is there a limit on how many kilometers I can ride per day?
No. All rentals include unlimited mileage.
Can I store my luggage at your shop during my rental?
Yes. We offer secure luggage storage at our Bangkok office for the entire duration of your rental.
Can I return the motorcycle to a different location from where I picked it up?
At this time, pick-up and drop-off are only available at our Bangkok location.
What happens if I experience a breakdown or technical issue during my rental?
Our team is available 24/7 to assist you. In the event of a breakdown or technical issue, we’ll provide on-site support or arrange a replacement motorcycle to keep your trip running smoothly.
Can I cancel or change my reservation?
Yes. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- More than 7 days before rental start: Full refund of deposit
- 7 days to 48 hours before start: Deposit is non-refundable, but may be applied to a future rental within 30 days
- Within 48 hours of rental start: Deposit is forfeited and non-transferable
Are there any restrictions on where I can ride the motorcycle?
You may ride anywhere in Thailand. You may also cross borders into Malaysia, Cambodia, or Laos, but you must notify us in advance so we can prepare the necessary paperwork. Additional charges apply to prepare the required documents for international travel.
Are the motorcycles well-maintained?
Yes. All motorcycles undergo routine servicing and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Standard service intervals are completed at official Honda dealerships.
